My name is Kaylie Cox,and I am a current senior at South Lyon East High School in South Lyon, Michigan. In the fall, I will be attending Eastern Michigan University for nursing, and hopefully continuing my education at Oakland University to become a forensic nurse specializing in death investigation. My interest in the functions of the human body, love for forensic science and desire to help people has pushed me this far to pursue a career in forensic nursing. I live with my mother and my stepdad, my grandparents, and my brother Joseph. When I'm not at school, I enjoy playing video games with my friends, drawing, listening to music, and playing the piano. I was part of one of the school plays in freshman year as a tech, the anime club, and this year I am apart of the HOSA club. I currently work at Cracker Barrel as a hostess, mostly spending my time there during the weekends, which has given me skills I need to help further myself in my future careers. I am confident, organized, and passionate about the things I do. I am also very passionate in the things I believe in, and in helping the people I care about in my life. I am proud of all the accomplishments I've made this far, and I'm excited to take on whatever is waiting for me in the future.
